Description:
Hydrogen Sulfide Certification is designed as a safety awareness program to familiarize students with the dangers associated with working in an H2S environment. The class is appropriate for entry level through supervisory level employees. The course is required for all employees who have the potential to be exposed to H2S in excess of the Threshold Limit Values (TLVs®) for Chemical Substances and Physical Agents and Biological Exposure Indices (BEI’s®) as established by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) as published in 2005. Annual refresher training is required.
