Confined Space Entry Supervisor Service

A qualified Confined Space Entry Supervisor oversees the planning, authorization, and safe execution of all confined space work. This role ensures that all hazards are identified, controls are in place, and the entry permit is issued in compliance with OSHA 1910.146.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessment and hazard evaluation before entry
• Verify atmospheric monitoring is completed and results are acceptable
• Ensure all required equipment is in place and functioning
• Confirm the rescue plan is established and rescue resources available
• Review and authorize the confined space entry permit
• Communicate entry conditions, controls, and restrictions to the entry team
• Suspend or cancel operations if unsafe conditions arise
• Close out and document the entry permit after work is completed
