Participants learn how to deliver classroom instruction, conduct hands-on demonstrations, evaluate operator performance, and maintain required training documentation.
The program emphasizes the three required components of powered industrial truck operator training: formal instruction, practical training, and evaluation of the operator's performance
Upon successful completion, participants are qualified to conduct operator training and evaluations for the types of powered industrial trucks for which they are competent and authorized to train.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Powered Industrial Truck Instructor Development Course Certificate documenting their successful completion of instructor development training.
Completion of this course qualifies participants to conduct powered industrial truck operator training and performance evaluations within their area of demonstrated competence, subject to their employer's authorization and the applicable OSHA requirements.
Important Note: Instructor qualification does not automatically authorize an individual to train on every type of powered industrial truck; instructors must be competent in the specific truck types and workplace conditions for which they provide training.
