Scaffold Competent Person Training Course

Course Overview

The Scaffold Competent Person Training Course is designed for supervisors, foremen, safety professionals, and workers responsible for inspecting, supervising, and ensuring the safe use of scaffolding systems on construction and industrial job sites.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of scaffold safety requirements, hazard recognition, inspection procedures, structural components, and fall protection systems.

The course prepares individuals to identify existing and predictable hazards associated with scaffolds and take prompt corrective action to eliminate or control unsafe conditions.

Accurate Safety Compliance’s Scaffold Competent Person Training aligns with OSHA scaffold safety requirements under 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L and provides the knowledge necessary for employers to designate trained individuals as a Competent Person responsible for scaffold safety oversight.

Course Objectives

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Scaffold Competent Person Certification, which includes the employee's name, the signature of the Trainer, and the dates of Training, valid for three years.

The certificate of completion is available for review by employees and their authorized representatives through the student’s Training Passport.

Training Passport is a digital training history that securely stores an individual's training records.

Prerequisites

• Participants must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience working on construction sites or scaffolding systems is recommended but not required.

Location

Classes are held at our Training Center or can be scheduled on-site at your workplace.
